Warm greetings from Handong Global University!

We would like to introduce the “Handong UNITWIN Fellowship(HUF),” a grant program sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Education.

This fellowship aims to make university-level courses accessible to the public, aligning with the recommendations of the OER section of UNESCO and the fulfillment of SDG4.

Every semester, we invite applications from universities worldwide and select participants.

Once selected, professors are required to submit their lecture materials and HUF provides grants ($300~$1800) for the materials.

We are excited to announce that the 2024 Fall HUF will kick off soon, and we cordially invite professors worldwide to participate!

We will receive applications from August 1st until midnight on August 12th through Google Forms (link: https://forms.gle/F1aaMme9BdNuNQHP6).

There is a required minimum and maximum length for Each week.

While lecture materials can be in your native language, application documents, including the syllabus, should be written in English.

*Please express your ideas in your own way. Plagiarism or copying essays is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification without notice.

After the application deadline, we will contact the university to verify the information provided in your application.

Applications that do not receive university verification will not be considered.

We reserve the right to select the recipients of HUF, and the following factors are always taken into consideration:

- Priority is given to partner universities and professors who actively utilize lectures on our website.

- Additional points are awarded to new applicants compared to professors who have been selected multiple times before. We support an applicant up to a maximum of five times.

- Preference is given to new major courses that are not yet available on our website. Courses in Business & Economics, Engineering, and Social Sciences, including Law, are also favored.

- Applicants who apply for videos+lecture notes are preferred over those applying for lecture notes only.

Even if applicants do not score highly in the above-mentioned factors, they may still be selected if they receive a great score in the essay and syllabus evaluation.
