This course will provide students with understanding of human resource management and indepth of key aspects of HRM which includes the scope,objectives,importance and functions of HRM.Also understanding of key aspects such as HR planning which deals with planning the number of employees needed at what time in the organization ,recruitment which deals with attracting the best and selection which selects the right personnel,orientation helps in settling the new staff ,training and development deals with improving the skills of the staff,reward and motivation ensures the staff does not get a burn out but keeps working ,health and safety minds the welfare of the staff,performance appraisal assess the performance and industrial relations looks at the relationship between the employer and employee.This course will help the students to understand the role of HRM in organizations and why every organization needs to have a strong HR department.
