This course covers all the basics of computer science. This course will develop computer science problem-solving skills with a focus on data and information science.
In order to solve a problem using a computer, computer scientists need to understand what it is, define it effectively, understand computer programs and structures, and understand semi-automated and automated computer programs and their structures. ou will learn basic programming concepts such as algorithm design, information, selection, loops and functions, data collection, and organization. Basic object-oriented programming, including classes and inheritance, will be studied.
