Workplace environmental management is the practice of reducing the environmental impacts of an organization’s activities, products, and services. In this course, you will learn about the concepts and principles of environmental sustainability and management.

Students will also explore the definitions,composition, structure and advantages of Earth’s environment and Rwanda’s environment with focus on relief, vegetation, Climate and Hydrology, and how they are affected by human projects and activities. 

Students will learn how to identify, assess, and manage the environmental aspects and impacts of organizations and how to implement environmental management systems (EMS), such as the ISO 14001 family. This course will equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to become a competent and responsible environmental manager and practitioner in the workplace and community.
