The purpose of this course is to help learners apply the basic concepts and principles of marketing. This course focuses on understanding of the  fundamentals of  marketing.The course will help the students to understand marketing and marketing arena,objectives of marketing and importance,approaches to marketing,difference between selling and marketing,functions of marketing,marketing environment ,segmentation,marketing mix,product mix,packaging,pricing and channel distribution.This course will discuss the importance of marketing in relationship to customer and how marketing mix influences the buying of the customers.The course will outline  purpose of packaging and how different products are packaged and why each package is selected carefully.How does the package influences buying bahaviour of the consumers.If packaging influences prices and why pricing  decisions should be made carefully and how they impact the consumer buying.Market is devided into different segments and each market is handle differently and this course will seek to explain purpose and impact of market segmentation.
