Course Goal:

The course is designed to give the students’ an appreciation of application of managerial accounting in the organization managerial decisions.

Course Objectives: The course concentrates on the management and cost Accounting methods and techniques applied to various areas of decision making in business. After studying the course, the students should be able to apply various management costing methods to assist the management to make informed forecast and decision in various situations.

Managerial decisions and information, cost estimation and forecasting, short term planning decisions, marginal and absorption costing, break- even analysis, cost accounting systems, budgeting, budgetary control, standard costing, inventory control decisions, resource allocation and optimization decisions and performance evaluation decisions
