In this module, students will learn how to keep track of the broadcasting tower equipment, electrical equipment and air conditioner performance. You will also learn how to ensure the optimal temperature for the broadcasting tower site. By the end of this module, students will be able to:
Monitor the broadcasting tower equipment for any faults or issues with physical inspection of transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, audio processors as well as analysis of parameters.
Monitor the electrical equipment for power supply and consumption such as generators, UPS, AVR and ATS.
Monitor the air conditioner for cooling efficiency and maintenance with physical inspection.
Monitor the temperature at the broadcasting tower site and adjust it as needed.
This module will equip you with the skills and knowledge to maintain the broadcasting tower equipment and ensure its smooth operation.
