This course provides a comprehensive exploration of Apiculture and Fish Farming, two vital sectors in sustainable agriculture. The first half of the course delves into the world of beekeeping, covering the biology and behavior of honey bees, essential beekeeping equipment, and the establishment and management of apiaries. Students will learn about the critical role of bees in pollination, the management of bee nutrition, and strategies for preventing and controlling bee diseases. The course also covers honey harvesting, processing, and marketing, providing practical insights into the apiculture industry.
