This course covers a wide range of knowledge and skills needed by intermediate proficiency students majoring in law. It focuses on the language skills needed in law areas. Students are introduced and exposed to new vocabulary, phrases, and expressions related to the law and how to use these words in different contexts. Introduction of vocabulary and expressions related to law integrated into English communication skills. Students work collaboratively in pairs or in a group to put into practice the vocabulary and expressions in the unit that have learnt into law-related professional situation, studies and opinion.This course is developed using English for Academic Purpose scheme to provide basic understanding of English related to law themes. This course enriches the vocabulary knowledge through intensive reading texts comprehension. The materials provided exposed students to not only reading comprehension but also to wide range of skills such as listening, writing, and speaking.
