This is a new course in Marketing being offered to senior students at Westminster International University in Tashkent. The course is designed to explore various theories and cases in Services Marketing in order for students better understand how Marketing works in service industry. The classes are conducted with the use of video clips related to marketing and recent events in the business world. Some stories and interactive games are also used to spark students’ creativity. However, the students are encouraged to “connect the dots”. In other words, the students are encouraged to be active in their learning.
The students are also exposed to various scholars and authors in the field of marketing and related fields such as sociology and psychology. The course is experimental in that structure and content is still being tested in the real environment.
