Theory of Internal Combustion Engines course covers the theoretical basis of internal combustion engines of vehicles, the history and development trends, the classification of heat engines and their technical performance as well as calculations of in cylinder processes.
The course is the major engineering subject and designed for bachelor's degree students in Automotive, Transportation, Energy Engineering fields. It is taught in the 6th and 7th semesters. To master the course, it is necessary to have sufficient knowledge and skills in the following disciplines: mathematical and natural subjects, general technical subjects and some special disciplines subjects.
