The course analysis how international businesses develop and leverage their capabilities and competencies to create competitive advantages in international markets. A key purpose of this course is to understand how managers design and implement international business strategies. A range of internationalisation theories and frameworks are used to analyze strategy formulation; decisions regarding to the foreign direct investment; selections of foreign investment locations; forms of international involvement and modes of market entry; and the concept of liability of foreignness. The course will also look at the process of internationalization depicting how different business move to foreign markets.
