In order to support all students whose major is Lao and literature pedagogy, different aspects of courses were effectively designed and included in the curriculum of Lao Language Pedagogy Program. Having mentioned that Lao traditional literature is a core subject which is essential for the students' professional knowledge. Overall, it covers the meanings, the importance, the originality, and the development of Lao traditional literature: prose, tales, fairy tales, miracle stories, animal stories and fables. Of course, each provides different contexts of Lao history or society. With what offered by this course, the students can have ideas how to begin to write their final report more effectively at the end of the program.
