In order to achieve the visions of the Faculty of Education, different aspects of courses were designed and included in the curriculum of Lao Language Pedagogy Program. Basically, the content of the course is about the location and borders of the Lan Xang kingdom; the origin and growth of written literature in the Lan Xang kingdom from 1357 to 1690; thinking system of Lao feudal system which influenced Lao living styles, religion, beliefs, and values in the kingdom of feudal; cultural sites and materials or tools, and Lao literature in the kingdom of flourished Lan Xang; and the content and the creative art of the outstanding literary texts during the Lao Lan Xang Kingdom such as the epic story of "Thao Hung-Thao Ceung", the story of "Sangsinxay", the story of "Chanthakhad" and the story of "Nangtangon".
